Strategic Planning Process Overview

The planning process was a collaborative effort between the Division Chief, Office Chiefs and Cambria Solutions. In addition, the Business Process Core Team provided input to assist with the current situational analysis. A detailed description of the planning activities is listed below:

Fact Finding
  • Validate SWOT Analysis and Research and Financial facts.
  • Receive responses from Business Process Core Team
  • Compile results from findings
  • Develop strategic questions for review
  • Present fact finding and strategic questions to Office Chiefs

Weeks 1 & 2

Evaluate Present Goals and Objectives
  • Revisit goals and objectives to see if they apply to current business practices
  • Augment and/or change goals and objectives
  • Develop performance measures to include in plan
  • Present new goals, objectives and performance measures to Office Chiefs

Weeks 3, 4 & 5

Develop revised Strategic Plan
  • Incorporate all updates into revised plan
  • Develop Action Plan
  • Office Chiefs present plan to staff for input
  • Staff input is evaluated
  • Strategic Overview is presented to customers for input
  • Final Strategic plan is completed
