HPMS Data Library Archives
The maintained mileage and DVMT (daily vehicle miles traveled) for each jurisdiction in California is available electronically as far back as 1996. Reports from years prior to that may be found in the Assembly of Statistical Reports (ASR). These can be found in the Caltrans Library, and they are available in hard copy as far back as 1978.
The tables below are those designated as table 2-1-6 in the Assembly of Statistical Reports (ASR) which was last published in 2000. Currently, the California Public Road Data in the HPMS Library takes the place of the ASR.
