FASTLANE Grants Program

Background

The Fostering Advancements in Shipping and Transportation for the Long-term Achievement of National Efficiencies (FASTLANE) Grants program was created in December 2015 when President Obama signed into law the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act. FASTLANE provides "dedicated, discretionary funding for projects that address critical freight issues facing our nation's highways and bridges", in addition to supporting the U.S. Department of Transportation's draft National Freight Strategic Plan, released in October 2015.

FASTLANE FFY 2017

The FASTLANE Cycle II / FFY 2017 Notice of Funding Opportunity was released on October 28th, 2017.
