California Department of Transportation

Long-Term Socio-Economic Forecasts by County

The Transportation Economics Branch initiated this project in 2000 to assist local and regional agencies in their planning and travel forecasting efforts. The project provides a consistent set of long-term socio-economic forecasts for each county. The contract for this effort was renewed for another two years (2014 and 2015). The 2014 forecast is expected to be released in the fall. If you have any questions or comments, or would like copies of previous forecasts, please e-mail Ryan Ong.
