Strategic Plan Objectives

The Division of Research and Innovation strategic planning process was initiated with considering the following objectives:

Create a Strategic Plan that addresses the priorities of DRI and the goals of the Caltrans One Vision/One Mission.
Ensure that the plan reflects the needs of Division of Research and Innovation’s customers.
Incorporate staff input throughout the entire strategic planning process.
Develop a workable document that can be used as a guide while conducting the Business Process Review and developing the To-Be processes.

The Strategic Plan should be the guiding force within the division concerning customer and employee satisfaction, financial management and project accountability.

The Division of Research and Innovation’s Division Chief and Office Chiefs led the revisit of the Strategic Plan in consultation with Cambria Solutions, Inc.
