Caltrans Research Project Makes AASHTO SCOR's "Sweet 16" List
Each year, the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) to the AASHTO Standing Committee on Research (SCOR) collects High Value Research highlights from state transportation departments across the nation. From these submittals, the top sixteen high value research projects providing “Transportation Excellence through Research” are selected to form the “Sweet 16” award. One of Caltrans’ research projects, “Enhancing a Freeway Safety Performance Measurement Tool (aka Accident Risk Analysis Tool),” has been selected for the 2013 High Value Research “Sweet 16.” The project will be presented at the AASHTO RAC annual meeting in July and showcased in a poster session at the 2014 Transportation Research Board annual meeting in January.
