Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Seismic Retrofit Project
Contractor/Fabricator/Supplier Information Session

The State of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be hosting an information session for the construction contract of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Seismic Retrofit Project (Contract No. 04-0438U4). It is anticipated that the contract will be advertised on August 16, 1999, and that the bids will be opened in early December 1999. The bid package will not be available at this session.

The purpose of the session is to provide information about the project area, construction staging and sequencing, and the major elements of the contract. The construction completion date for the project is anticipated to be in 2003.

Information relevant to the advertisement schedule and work items will be provided during the session.
