Response #2:The DVBE goal for this contract is 5 percent as stated in the "Notice to Bidders" of the Special Provisions. The prospective bidders must meet this 5% DVBE goal. Example of DVBE could be vendors, suppliers, truckers and subcontractors.

Inquiry #6: Has Cal Trans ever had a contractor construct a wall using CIDH pilings - 2'-6" diameter, 2'-6" o.c. 42'-0" deep with ground water 15' below grade. There is also sand and gravel which indicates the potential need for casing.
