Inquiry #2: We are sending this Inquiry as a response to the proposed Bid date for Contract No 11-262204, Construction on State Highway in San Diego County at San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge from Toll Gates to North Junction Route 5. We would request an extension of the proposed Bid date of no less than two (2) weeks; this is in response to the on-site visit of July 17, 2017. Upon completing the days job site visit it was demonstrated that the project entails much more deliberation concerning the logistics required to performing the tasks requested of the project. Without the requested extension an accurate assessment would be impractical. This in turn could possibly exclude us from participating in the project.

As discussed during the site visit, will Caltrans require the industry standard to cross the roadway at a 90 degree angle, thusly requiring a vault to be installed directly across from the SDGE HV manhole on the south side of the bridge entrance?
