Inquiry #2: Irrigation sprinkler schedule sheet ISS-1 has callout for note # 9. there are only 8 notes shown. Please clarify.

Response #2: The note numbers shown for sprinkler assemblies under Remarks in the Irrigation Sprinkler Schedule appear to be a typographical error. The note references should be 7 and 8.

Inquiry #3: Controller bid item# 22 call out for wall mounted controller. There is no bid item for a enclosure for this unit. Where is this controller to be installed?

Response #2: Refer to Section 20-2.07B(2)(a) of the Special Provisions. The enclosure is part of the irrigation controller item. Section 20-2.07C “Construction” of the Revised Standard Specifications states, “Locate irrigation controllers in pedestal or wall mounted enclosures as shown.” The irrigation controller cabinet is shown on Irrigation Plan IP-1, sheet 11 of the plans.

Inquiry #4: Does this project need the implementation of Fiber Rolls and Drain Inlet Protection? Typically there are bid items for these BMP's. Please clarify.

Response #2: The estimated quantities for these items were minor; therefore separate bid items were not needed for payment. Refer to Section 9-1.03 “PAYMENT SCOPE” which states,
“Full compensation for work specified in divisions I, II, and X is included in the payment for (all) the bid items unless:
1. Bid item for the work is shown on the Bid Item List.”
Refer to the requirements of Sections 13-2 “WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM” and 13-4 “JOB SITE MANAGEMENT.”

Inquiry #5: What is the Risk Level of this project?
There are no line items for SWPPP ph testing or Reaps?
Depending on the risk level, how are these items to be paid?

Response #2: This project doesn’t require a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, and therefore a risk level designation is not required. A Water Pollution Control Program is required; refer to Section 13-2 “WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM.” The soil disturbance from work activities must be maintained at less than one acre. Refer to Section 9-1.03 “PAYMENT SCOPE” which states,
“Full compensation for work specified in divisions I, II, and X is included in the payment for (all) the bid items unless:
1. Bid item for the work is shown on the Bid Item List.”
