Response #1:No specific distance. The conduit installation must meet the 2015 Standard Plans, Specifications, and special provisions. The intent is to keep the fiber optic Splice Vaults out of the natural flow lines to keep mud and debris out. Please bid per current contract documents.

Inquiry #15: Plan Sheet 450 show a leveled surface installation in 'dirt' and in 'A/C' but there are some trench details missing. Please clarify the separation between innerducts, separation between the innerduct and trench walls, and the separation between the trench walls and power/other conduit(s).

Will there be any other types of trench details provided for the project to consider? Can you clarify other trench details including the separation requested as above?

Response #2:There is no separation requirement for the innerducts as long as they are embedded in the sand as shown.

The power conduits must meet the minimum depth shown and must be outside of the sand bedding.

There is no requirement for the distance between the conduits/innerducts and the trench wall.

No other trenching details will be provided.

Inquiry #16: Addendum 2 issued a revised materials information handout. Is the bidder to assume the geotechnical baseline information provided is for this 'TMS' project and not for the 'CMS' project as noted in that report? This project is for the field TMS installations not just the CMS.
