Response #2:The ramp locations closed with Temporary Railing (Type K) would be closed as shown on the plans for that stage activity. The duration the ramps would be closed would depend upon the anticipated construction of that stage with the exception of ramp locations utilizing CRCP (Rapid Set) which would follow Chart J4 ?Complete Ramp Closure Hours?. The additional Lane Requirement Charts contained within the Special Provisions would be associated with nightly shift closures utilizing temporary traffic control items other than Temporary Railing (Type K.

Inquiry #4: Based on the summary of roadway quantities Q1, CRCP (RSC), there is no rapid set concrete (RSC) associated with the Hosking and Houghton Ramps, however the stage construction drawings indicate CRCP RSC for those same ramps. Can you please clarify if there is CRCP Rapid set on Hosking and Houghton Ramps? If so, is the summary of quanity sheet incorrect?

The ramp traffic control charts for Hosking and Houghton ramps identifies traffic closure for 12 hour window. Can you please clarify if the lane charts are supposed to be only for 12 hours, longer than 12 hours, or for the entire stage?

Thank you
