Inquiry #1: In reference to a sentence on page 13 of the specifications, "Except for one way reversing traffic control lane closures, the maximum length of the work area inside a closure is 1000ft"

Will this apply to stationary lane closures at location No. 4? That would be approximately 240 lane closures?

Inquiry #2: In reference to the lengths of the traffic control closure restrictions (500 feet for the flagging and 1000 feet for the lane closures) this is going to increase the number of traffic control shifts and elevate the costs for the bid item for Traffic Control. By allowing for longer closures it will mean that the traffic control crews will be less exposed to potential danger. It will also speed the progress of the project allowing for faster completion and this will directly impact both the safety and convenience of the traveling public.
