The Geotechnical Laboratory provides a variety of soil and rock testing for the Department. Testing services include:

WORK REQUESTS

A "Geotechnical Laboratory Request Form" and "Boring Sample Record" must accompany each group of samples submitted to the Geotechnical Laboratory. These forms are available below.

Refer to the "Geotechnical Laboratory Quick Reference Sheet" for the minimum sample sizes and / or weights required to perform each test.
