Administration Overview

The Administration and Budgets office supports the primary work activities of the Division. We help ensure appropriate resources and quality products are available to staff in Headquarters and throughout the Department’s twelve district offices so that they can efficiently and effectively deliver the Division’s programs.

ObjectiveS

• Help ensure the safety of the Division’s employees and customers.
• Support management’s efforts to hire, house, develop, and retain a competent, capable, and motivated work force.
• Enhance the Division’s professional outlook in meeting customer needs.
• Liaise with the California Department of Finance, California Department of General Services, State Personnel Board, the California Department of Personnel Administration, the Division of Business, Facilities and Security, the Division of Human Resources, the Division of Labor Relations, and the Division of Procurement and Contracts (DPAC) to ensure the Division’s policies and practices comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
