RSTP and CMAQ Balance Reports

The reports available below provide MPO/RTPA apportionment and obligational authority balances for RSTP and CMAQ. Reports are in Acrobat 3.0 format. Make sure you have the version 3.0 software. See below for help.

The report formats include FTIP/FSTIP identifiers, expenditures, and dates of last activity. You can view this primer on the new format using Acrobat.

The reports below reflect the "Official" balances of RTPA and MPO balances. These reports have been carefully reviewed and reconciled within Caltrans and FHWA. If you have problems downloading any of the files, right click and "Save target As" to your desktop and then open from there.

Here are the "Official" Reports:

CMAQ/RSTP Reports for MPO/RTPA's use:

These reports have been tailored for use by the MPO/RTPAs that do not require apportionment code level detail balances.

All reports on this page include Federal apportionments, Exchange transfers, TEA OA loans, project obligations and adjustments, final vouchers, including project status.

CMAQ/RSTP Reports for Caltrans use:

These reports are more complicated in that balances are broken down to the MPO-apportionment code level. Caltrans staff need this information to determine what apportionment codes have funds available to obligate on projects.
