Erosion Control (Sequencing)

What is This Specification?
The Erosion Control (Sequencing) specification is used to communicate with Contractors the order of installation of various erosion control treatments. For example, this specification would be used to direct the Contractor to first install a Compost Blanket , then place Erosion Control (Netting), and finally to apply Erosion Control (Hydroseed).
When to Use This Specification?
- Use this specification whenever your project includes multiple erosion control products in the same area.
Benefits:
- Allows various erosion control treatments to be combined in unique ways to meet specific project locations.
- Provides a modular approach to specifying erosion control treatments.
- Reduces the need for nonstandard specifications.
Limitations:

Only intended to be used for Erosion Control items. Use the Order of Work specification to direct the Contractor regarding items of work other than erosion control.
