The project is on U.S. Highway 395 in Inyo County near the community of Independence at the Division Creek Safety Roadside Rest Area located 2.1 miles north of Black Rock Springs Road.

Project Description:

This project is a State Highway Operation and Protection Program (SHOPP) Safety Roadside Rest Area Restoration project. The project will rehabilitate and upgrade the facilities in compliance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA).

 Project Status:

The project is in the Final Design (How A Project Gets Built) phase, and design of the approved alternative is in progress.
