| WHO: | The California Department of Transportation’s (Caltrans) Adopt-A-Highway Program, announces the recipients of this year’s Kern County Adopt-A-Highway Volunteer of the Year Awards. Mayor, Harvey Hall, City of Bakersfield; Harvey Hall Family; John Enriquez and Keep Bakersfield Beautiful, located in Kern County, will be recognized for their outstanding volunteer efforts in helping to keep local highways litter-free. | ||
| WHAT: | Caltrans will hold a Press Conference this week in order to acknowledge and present these outstanding volunteers with their individual Adopt-A-Highway Volunteer of the Year Award certificates. | ||
| WHEN: | The public and media are invited to attend the Volunteer of the Year Adopt-A-Highway Award presentation ceremony on Friday, March 23rd beginning at 10:00 a.m. | ||
