Bidders are cautioned that subsequent responses or contract addenda may affect or vary a response previously given.

Q) I do not see a bid item for straw as there normally is. All other erosion control items have individual bid items (fiber, compost, move-in/out, pure live seed, stabilizing emulsion). Please let me know if straw is to be applied or not, if yes, how do we get paid for it?

A) Straw will not be applied.

Q) Bid item 36 Quadguard System, unit of measure is meter, quantity is 10. Should unit of measure be per each?

A) The unit of measure is each.

Q) How is the bidder to have adequate time available to acquire and perform engineering and construction review of cross sections prior to bid? There is not adequate time available. Please consider postponement of bid opening. After all, the legislature has not even finished the budget.

A) Cross sections are available at Coastal Reprographic Services, San Luis Obispo, at 805-543-5247. Postponing bid opening date is not an option at this point.
