Highway 101 Widening Brochure

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has begun a major construction project to widen US 101 from four to six lanes between Route 12 and Steele Lane in Santa Rosa. The new lanes will be northbound and southbound carpool lanes, which will add capacity and encourage ridesharing in this congested corridor. The project construction will consist of 3 stages during a 2 ½ year period.
