      <description>Belmont – Caltrans is scheduling full freeway closures for northbound and southbound U.S. 101 to remove falsework from the Ralston Avenue Bikeway Overcrossing, on June 28 and June 29. This project is being constructed by the City of Belmont. Falsework is a temporary structure that supports the components of a bridge during construction.

        On Tuesday morning June 28th from 12:30 a.m. until 4:00 a.m. there will be a full freeway closure in the northbound direction on U.S. 101 between Ralston Ave / Marine Parkway and Hillsdale Boulevard. Detour: northbound traffic will exit at Ralston Avenue East to El Camino Real to Hillsdale Boulevard, and return to northbound U.S. 101.

        On Wednesday morning June 29th from 1:00 a.m. until 4:30 a.m. U.S 101 will be closed in the southbound direction between Hillsdale Boulevard and Ralston Avenue / Marine Parkway.
