SOUTHBOUND 880 OFF-RAMP TO
MC CARTHY BLVD CLOSED TOMORROW


Beginning at 5 AM tomorrow, March 9, crews will close the off-ramp to McCarthy Boulevard from southbound Interstate 880 in order to pour the concrete deck for a connector being constructed as part of the 237/880 interchange improvement project. Motorists accessing McCarthy Boulevard may use the next exit to Ranch Drive/McCarthy Boulevard from westbound Route 237.

The off-ramp is scheduled to open at 6 PM tomorrow. All work is subject to good weather conditions.

The connector being constructed will create a direct connection for motorists traveling on southbound 880 to westbound 237. It’s scheduled to open in early summer 2001.

The 237/880 interchange improvement project is scheduled to be completed around May 2002.
