Lane closures scheduled tonight for the southbound lanes of the Benecia-Martinez Bridge will begin early at 6 p.m (instead of 9 p.m.) tonight, Friday, November 17, for emergency repairs to some temporary deck plates that are being used during the current seismic retrofit project. Two southbound lanes of the bridge will be closed from 6 p.m. tonight until 7 a.m. Saturday morning. Traffic delays are expected, and motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
