The results of the public survey taken from October 23, 2002 through December 5, 2002 reflect ballots submitted through the Internet and ballots collected at three local libraries. Option SP-E received the greatest number of votes for the South Portal Options and Option NP-D received the most votes for the North Portal Options. The survey also showed that public opinion was equally divided between the minimal design options and the more elaborate design options for both portals. The Aesthetics Committee will continue to review the comments received as part of the survey and will use all the information to proceed in providing guidance in the development of the final portal designs. Again, we thank you for your participation.
