Devil's Slide Project | FAQ

    1. Is there an approximate date available when the tunnel portion of the Devils Slide project may be advertised?

    Ans: The Advertise Date is scheduled for June 26, 2006


    2. What is the bid opening date?

    Ans: Because of the number and complexity of contract inquiries, several potential bidders have requested a postponement of the bid opening date. Consequently, the bid opening date is now 11/14/06.

    3. Please provide me with any site specific updates to the Devils Slide project that is associated with the use of Advanced Treatment Systems (ATS) or permit compliance for stormwater related issues.

    4. I am a materials supplier interested in the Fiber Reinforced Shotcrete. How can I be alerted of spec updates, bid dates, addendums and bidders lists?

    6. Where can I find the plans and bid documents for the Devil's Slide Tunnels Contract?

    Ans. Please visit the Headquarters Office Engineer web site http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/esc/oe then click on the link for Advertized Projects (Projects for Bid). Note that there is about a two week look ahead so the Tunnels Contract may not be posted on the site until week beginning June 12.
