Site tours will be conducted on the following dates, Thursday, June 26 and Tuesday, July 1, 2003. The tour will commence at 8:30am. Reservations are required. To reserve a space for a site tour, contact the District 4 Duty Senior by fax, e-mail, or complete and submit the form below. The District 4 Duty Senior fax number is (510) 622-1805 and the e-mail address is Duty_Senior_District04@dot.ca.gov. The following is the site tour itinerary:

8:30am - Meet at the Caltrans District 4 Office lobby. The Caltrans District 4 Office is located at 111Grand Avenue, Oakland, CA 94612. Click here for a Yahoo Map.

8:45am - Leave Oakland and head towards San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.

9:30am - Arrive at lower deck of SFOBB for access to top of Piers E1 and YB4.

11:00am - Leave SFOBB and drive back to Oakland.

11:30am - Arrive at Caltrans District 4 Office.

ALL VISITORS MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING SAFETY EQUIPMENT:

• Fall protection equipment - full body harness, 2 lanyards with large
• snaps (ladder hooks).
• Safety vests.
• Hard hat.
• Safety footwear.

SAFETY RULES

• All tour attendees must sign the Release Form prior to the start of the tour.

• Private vehicles will not be allowed on the bridge lane closures.

• Crossing the traveled way is not permitted.
