SOUTHBOUND I-880 REOPENS
Oakland – This morning at approximately 6:17 a.m. a tanker truck exploded on southbound I-880 resulting in the closure of the freeway near the Embarcadero off-ramp. This evening at the time of this release, Caltrans has picked up the closures and traffic is once again beginning to move along southbound I-880 . . . Full Release
