Environmental
The North Region Division of Environmental Planning is an interdisciplinary team of professionals working together to meet California's transportation needs while maintaining the quality of natural and cultural environment.

 

 

 

 

Equipment Shop 3
The Division of Equipment purchases, fabricates, services and repairs mobile equipment for Caltrans. It is also able to provide mobile equipment and services to local public funded agencies through interagency agreements.

 

 

 

 

Maintenance
The Division of Maintenance's mission is to protect public safety and preserve California's highway system by maintaining and repairing the system and responding to emergencies so travelers and goods reach their destination safely and efficiently.

 

 

 

 

Planning and Local Assistance
The Division of Planning articulates a long-term vision while supporting transportation service, project selection, project delivery, and system operations. The Division of Planning works in partnership with others to ensure an open and equitable process while acting as a bridge between the department's external partners and internal operations.

The Division of Right of Way administers the district program for right of way acquisition and real property management in support of Caltrans' purpose, mission, vision and goals.

 

 

 

 

Traffic Operations
Traffic Operations' goal is to promote the District's proactive role in planning, reporting and implementing construction, maintenance and encroachment permit activities on our highway system without adversely affecting public traffic.
