Work in Williams on Interstate 5

Williams - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting motorists that a contractor is scheduled to begin work on Interstate 5 within the Williams city limits. The schedule is as follows:

· April 24th starting at 6:00 p.m. through April 25th at 10:00 a.m.

· April 28th starting at 8:00 a.m. through May 2nd at 10:00 a.m.

Motorists can expect various lane closures with at least one lane open in both directions during the work. The work is necessary to improve the roadway.

Unexpected weather or equipment problems may prolong or cause the work to be rescheduled. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the work area and to “Slow For the Cone Zone”.
