Roadwork On State Highway 99 Tuesday and Wednesday in Chico

Chico- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting motorists that on Tuesday, April 22, Caltrans crews will be closing the northbound east 20^th Street on-ramp and the #2 lane of northbound State Highway 99 (approximately 2,000 feet before the on-ramp) for grinding and paving.

On Wednesday, April 23, Caltrans crews will be closing the northbound Cohasset off-ramp and the #2 lane of northbound State Highway 99 (approximately 2,000 feet before the off-ramp) for grinding and paving.

The work is necessary to repair numerous potholes and will occur between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Unexpected weather or equipment problems may prolong or cause the work to be rescheduled.

Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the work area and to “Slow For the Cone Zone”.
