Grinding & Paving Tuesday on State Highways 162/70 in Oroville

Oroville- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting motorists that on Tuesday, March 25, Caltrans crews will be grinding and paving on State Highway 162 to the Northbound State Highway 70 onramp in Oroville. Southbound State Highway 70 at the Montgomery Street off ramp will subsequently be closed for grinding and paving work on that segment of highway. The work is necessary in order to repair numerous potholes.

The work will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. A detour will be available at Feather River Boulevard from 9 am to 12 p.m. for the work occurring on State Highway 162. From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. a detour will be available at the State Highway 162 off ramp for the Montgomery Street roadwork. Motorists can expect delays.

Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the work area and to “Slow For the Cone Zone”.
