PUBLIC INPUT SOUGHT FOR I-80 / I-5 INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

 

SACRAMENTO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking the public’s input and comments on the Interstate-80 (I-80) / Interstate-5 (I-5) Interchange Improvement Project at an open house scheduled for Thursday, March 13 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at a Caltrans’ District 3 Office in Sacramento.

 

The proposed project is being designed to improve traffic operations at the busiest interchange in the Sacramento Region.  Bus/carpool lanes will also be extended and auxiliary lanes will be added at multiple locations.   

 

The public is invited to exchange information, provide input and review project alternatives.  Maps and information will be on display and Caltrans personnel will be available to answer questions.  This “drop-in” style open house will be held at the Caltrans facility located at 2800 Gateway Oaks Drive in Sacramento.
