HIGHWAY 65 SAFETY CORRIDOR TO BE UNVEILED
MARYSVILLE
– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has announced the installation and unveiling of the Daylight Headlight Signs along Highway 65 between the city of Lincoln to north of the city of Wheatland tomorrow April 11 at 10:00 a.m.The Headlight Safety signs make it mandatory for motorists to have their headlights on while traveling this section of the highway. Future improvements include rumble strips down the middle of the highway to create a no-passing zone for this entire 14 miles stretch of Highway 65.
The sign unveiling will take place on Highway 65 just north of Chamberlain Road 4 1/2 miles north of Lincoln (large turnout on highway on west side of road north side of creek bridge)
