MARYSVILLE -
The California Department of Transportation announced today they will be activating a signal at the intersection of State Highway 70 and Georgia Pacific Way in Oroville tomorrow, Thursday, March 23.The $600,000 project added a four-way traffic signal system with left-turn and through signals for north and southbound traffic on State Highway 70 and through signals for east and westbound traffic on Georgia Pacific Way. Right-turn lanes were also constructed at the intersection on State Highway 70.
Motorists wishing to turn left from State Highway 70 will have a dedicated left-turn signal. Motorists wishing to turn left from Georgia Pacific Way onto State Highway 70 will still have to yield to oncoming traffic.
