CALTRANS TO PRESENT PLANS FOR U.S. HIGHWAY 50

IMPROVEMENT PROJECT THROUGH PLACERVILLE

PLACERVILLE – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will present its plans for a future U.S. Highway 50 improvement project through Placerville at an open house scheduled for Wednesday, January 25.

The public is invited to review project features and discuss project impacts with Caltrans staff at the open house being held at the Placerville Town Hall, 549 Main Street in Placerville, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Caltrans is proposing improvements to traffic circulation during both peak and off-peak periods on U.S. Highway 50 through Placerville with the following project features:
