Yuba City - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is warning motorists in Yuba City to expect delays due to paving work tonight (Friday, May 13) at the Highway 99/20 intersection.

Beginning at 10 p.m., traffic on Highway 20 will be detoured around the Highway 99 interchange. Traffic on north and southbound Highway 99 will also be limited to one lane in each direction at that location. Detours will be available. All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 14.

These restrictions are necessary to replace damaged asphalt. Work is being done at night to minimize impacts to the traveling public. Motorists are advised to drive with caution in this area and to "Slow for the Cone Zone".
