Overnight closure planned for WB Interstate 80 in Colfax
Colfax - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced today that an overnight closure of Westbound Interstate 80 in Colfax is scheduled for Monday, May 9th at 9 p.m. to Tuesday, May 10th at 6 a.m. while crews pour a center barrier cap.
Motorists will be detoured off of Westbound Interstate 80 at Secret Town Road and returned to I-80 at Canyon Way.
A Changeable message sign will alert motorists prior to the detour. This scheduled work is subject to change due to weather.
Caltrans and the CHP urge the motoring public to use caution, be patient and to PLEASE "Slow for the Cone Zone."
