Work Begins on
Culvert Rehabilitation Project on State Route 49 Between Cool and Auburn
Marysville: The
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced that a culvert
rehabilitation project began today on State Route 49 in El Dorado and Placer
Counties between Cool and Auburn.
The
project includes the replacement of 17 culverts under the Route 49 and
installation of guardrail in various locations between Cool and Auburn.
The
culvert rehabilitation project is scheduled for the entire months of June and
July, Monday through Thursday (6AM to 5PM) and Friday (6AM to 3PM). Motorists can anticipate delays of up to 20
minutes during this construction period.
Caltrans
urges the motoring public to use caution, be patient and to PLEASE "Slow
for the Cone Zone."
