NORTHBOUND WILLOWS SAFETY REST AREA TO REOPEN AND SOUTHBOUND WILLOWS SAFETY REST AREA TO BE CLOSED FOR INTERIOR REPAIRS PROJECT

 

Willows – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is scheduled to reopen the northbound Willows Safety Roadside Rest Area (SRRA) on Interstate 5 in Glenn County on Monday, April 5.  The SRRA was closed while interior repairs were made.  With the completion of the northbound SRRA repairs, the southbound Willows Safety Roadside Rest Area on Interstate 5 will close for interior repairs on Monday, April 5.  It is estimated the repairs to the southbound Willows SRRA will take approximately two months to complete.

 

An advance informational sign at the Red Bluff Safety Rest Area will alert motorists that the southbound Willows SRRA is closed.
