Willows – The California Department of
Transportation (Caltrans) is scheduled to close the northbound Willows Safety
Roadside Rest Area (SRRA) on Interstate 5 in Glenn County on Monday, February 2. The SRRA will
be closed until interior repairs have been completed. Upon completion of the northbound SRRA repairs, the southbound
Willows Safety Roadside Rest Area on Interstate 5 will close for interior
repairs. While one safety rest area is closed, the other will remain open.
An advance informational sign at the
Maxwell Safety Roadside Rest Area will alert motorists when the northbound
Willows SRRA is closed. An advance
informational sign at the Red Bluff Safety Rest Area will alert motorists when
the southbound Willows SRRA is closed.
