SACRAMENTO – The California Department of Transportation
(Caltrans) announces that State Highway 65 at Pleasant Grove Boulevard will be
subject to night closures. A contractor
is scheduled to place falsework for the Pleasant Grove over-crossing. The closure schedule is as follows:

9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, all
southbound lanes will be closed. Motorists will be detoured off the highway at
Pleasant Grove Boulevard and right back onto the highway via the on-ramp.
q
Wednesday, July 2
from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, all
northbound lanes will be closed.
Motorists will be detoured off the highway to westbound Pleasant Grove
Boulevard. Motorists will turn
northbound on Roseville Parkway to northbound Washington Boulevard. Motorists will then turn eastbound on Blue
Oakes Boulevard and will return back to northbound Highway 65.
The closures are part of a
$9 million over-crossing improvement project and will provide three lanes of
traffic in each direction. The project
also provides an upgraded on-ramp to southbound Highway 65.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the
construction area and to “Slow For the Cone Zone”.
