The “Partnering Success in Motion Award” recognizes on-going projects within each district or region. The main
purpose is to celebrate success, share lessons learned of best practices, and honor all contract stakeholders.

The award was presented to the Calpella Rehabilitation Partnering Team by Caltrans North Region Construction
Division Chief, John Rodrigues, on March 4, 2008. The Partnering Success in Motion Award was presented during the annual North Region Construction West Area Registered Engineers meeting.

Eligibility

On-going partnered contracts with more than a 1-year duration. A project may be submitted for an annual Partnering Success in Motion Award each calendar year prior to contract completion.

Criteria

Caltrans Partnering Success in Motion Awards are judged on both objective and subjective criteria.
Applications will be scored by a team composed of Caltrans construction managers along with industry
senior executives.  Final selection will be determined by the District/Region Construction Deputy. One project per district or region will be recognized each year.
