SIS-5 ANDERSON GRADE PAVEMENT REHABILITATION (02-3E760)

Description: This is a $45 million long-life pavement project in Siskiyou County from 0.3 miles south of the Shasta River Bridge to 0.1 miles north of the Klamath River Road undercrossing in Yreka. The contractor is Road and Highway Builders of California, from Sacramento, CA. The project will replace the current pavement with reinforced, concrete pavement that has a design life of 40 years. The three year project is expected to be completed in 2014.

Description: To upgrade an area currently used as a chain-on area to add length and width to the paved shoulder area with ramp lighting.

Description: To improve the ride quality and extend the pavement life over the proposed segment. The project will enhance the subgrade and subsurface drainage, prevent continued deterioration of the pavement, and reduce distressed lane miles.

Description: To repair and protect 10 bridges in Shasta County to keep them serviceable and extend their useful life.

Description: To erect a system that will keep rocks and debris from falling on the roadway causing closures and damage.

    SIS-96 FT. GOFF FISH PASSAGE DRAINAGE RESTORATION (02-4E630) - Photo
Description: To restore fish passage on Fort Goff Creek by replacing a culvert with a bridge and restoring the streambed to meet fish passage criteria.
