Project Description
Phase 1 of the Los Molinos 99 Bond project introduced traffic calming elements along State Route (SR) 99 from Orange Street to Grant Street and established a storm drainage system. Construction of this project was completed in 2010.
Phase 2 of this project has started and will complete the storm drainage system constructed in Phase 1 by extending the outlet from the west end of Grant Street to Mill Slough.
Other work in phase 2 includes:
- Between Aramayo Way and Tehama-Vina, on the west side of SR 99:
- Widen highway shoulders to accommodate a bike lane and on-street parking.
- Add sidewalks, drainage, street lighting, landscaping and irrigation.
- Between Aramayo Way and Tehama-Vina, on the east side of SR 99:
- Widen highway shoulders to accommodate a standard shoulder with a bike lane.
- Between Grant Street and Aramayo Way, on the east side of SR 99:
- Widen highway shoulders to accommodate a bike lane and on-street parking.
