SAN DIEGO – Construction to replace pavement on the Interstate 5 (I-5) Ocean View Rehab Project between Oceanside and the San Diego-Orange County Line will resume Monday night.

Crews will close three of the four freeway lanes in two-mile sections between the Aliso Creek Rest Area and the San Diego-Orange County line Monday through Thursday, 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., on Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. The closures include the I-5 northbound and southbound Las Pulgas Road on- and off-ramps.  No closures are scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25

Motorists are reminded that the maximum speed through a construction zone is 55 mph. These limits are set for the safety of motorists and for the work crews. The California Highway Patrol will be implementing enhanced speed enforcement Jan 20-24.
