Hillery Drive at the I-15 Mira Mesa DAR Closed for Six Weeks
SAN DIEGO – Access to Hillery Drive, just south of Mira Mesa Boulevard at Interstate 15, will be restricted for approximately six weeks, according to Caltrans. The street will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians starting Monday to Friday, Aug.1 from Westview Parkway east to the end of the cul-de-sac.
Caltrans construction crews are resurfacing Hillery Drive in anticipation of the opening of the Mira Mesa DAR this fall. The DAR along with the new Miramar College Transit Station, which is also under construction, will link to the I-15 Express Lanes.
All pedestrians needing access to Miramar College, including those for the adjacent apartment homes and the shopping center, will be detoured south Westview Parkway. Work crews will be working weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., excluding Friday, July 4. Pedestrians are not allowed in the construction zone at anytime.
