Eastbound Bonita Road at I-805 Closed Overnight

SAN DIEGO –Eastbound Bonita Road at Interstate 805 (I-805) will be closed overnight for restriping of the lanes, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced today.

Single-lane closures will take place 9 p.m.-5 a.m., with full closure of the road, if necessary, from 11 p.m.-5 a.m.  Traffic delays are expected on I-805 as a result of the restriping.  Motorists are encouraged to consider taking alternate routes to avoid these delays.

The lane restripings are being made to accommodate the widening of the median on northbound and southbound I-805, a part of the I-805 South Express Lanes Project.
