Saturday Morning Closures Planned For I-8/1-15 Interchange
SAN DIEGO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is asking motorists to be aware of “moving closures” early Saturday morning in the vicinity of the Interstate 8/I-15 Interchange.
This is a safety project that will start just after midnight and continue until 8. On-ramps, off-ramps and connector ramps will be closed at various times throughout the designated morning hours, so motorists should allow extra time for possible detours.
The closures will move at a very slow pace as maintenance trucks and workers replace pavement markers.
Motorists are also reminded that the law requires motorists to move over a lane when possible, away from highway worker vehicles with flashing amber lights.
