Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway Appreciation Week and California Coastal Cleanup Day

California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District Director Laurie Berman and I Love A Clean San Diego Executive Director Pauline Martinson. .

WHAT:

Caltrans and I Love A Clean San Diego celebrates Adopt-A-Highway Appreciation Week and California Coastal Cleanup Day. Awards will be presented to five local participants of the Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway Program and one-day permit volunteers. The joint effort is to promote and recognize individual and community participation helping to keep litter off San Diego highways, beaches and parks. Refreshments will be served.

Caltrans equipment and photo boards will be displayed. Awards will be given to local sponsors. Participants in Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway and one-day permit programs will be available for interviews. Interviews in Spanish will also be available.
